The storied Fair Isle has a reputation for tough weather, but we had sunshine there again.
Lots of birds, sheep and a few people.

There are still some traditional crofters living on the island, as well as a number of enthusiastic bird watchers and a small number of holidaymakers, like this guy enjoying biking over the open, relatively dry moorland.
After Fair Isle we had a nice sail to Kirkwall in the Orkneys, but then a spell of wet weather with strong westerly winds, so we sailed on to Inverness and the Caledonian Canal instead of going straight to the West coast as planned.
