2019 was only our second summer home since 2007.
Helen had a stainless steel hip installed in May, with no complications, but of course it restricted her activity considerably for quite a while.
She spent some time enjoying the scenery from the end of our property, but spent much more working on the exercises to recover from her operation.
She bough a bike with electric power assist, which allowed lots of relatively light exercise for her (recommended for hip) while Neil was puffing to keep up.
Coming home early from sailing gave Neil time to help a little in the handicapped ski program that we had participated in for years.
We also enjoyed the usual mix of small wildlife around he house. including this woodpecker attacking the hummingbird feeder

One major event of he summer was the installation of two bridges of fill gaps in the walking/cross-country ski/bike train along the abandoned railroad along the lake.
There are in sight of our housel and provide a scenic, traffic free rid to Knowlton.
We had fun with our drone, particularly since
fall colours were good this year.
Hopefully these pictures of our property will encourage a buyer since we are keen to sell and move West.
